Summer … I Think I Love You

Pee Break

While mountain biking a Saturday afternoon in a glorious day in Boulder Juanita decided to take a bathroom break. Yes … nothing better than squating in the bushes by the bike path.
Mountain Biking Accident

On my way up to the top of Mesa Trail Bike path we found a 60 something year old man lying on rescue stretcher. Apparently, he was biking down the hill and hit a rock. Went over the handle bar and faceplanted. His nose was all bloody when the rescue crew came up to help carry him back to the city of Boulder.
Betrayal
Many “forgive me” will never erase this day of my life. Unfortunatly, people are just humans. We are not perfect and will never be. I know this, I have made many mistakes, I have trusted people I shouldn’t have and I have made wrong decisions.
Today has been one of those days. A day in which an eight years old friendship has died for no logical reason. Emotions are powerful feelings. They can take you to places in your mind and heart you have never been. They can move the deepest feelings and motivate us to be our best ever. It is the reason why we are alive, emotions.
But emotions doesn’t understand logic and can easily blind us and destroy others.
Goodbye. I never thought you had so much anger, and were so confused. Hate has never felt so close to me. It is a feeling I haven’t experience in many years. We will move on and we will forget. But emotions run through our essence, freely. They dictate who we are, what we do, whether we like it or not.
Our hearts can love and easily hate turning our minds into a total caos of confussion.
The most amazing feeling can lead to the worst feeling in an instant. It is too much for our minds. Only tears and more tears will help get out of this non sense. There is no explanation just let it go.
You don’t have to be friends with everybody … No, I don’t.

Dancing With A Bear

I went to the Draft House to listen to The Giving Tree Band play their fantastic and energetic music on a Saturday Summer night and found this interesting and cute image. This boulderite picked a big stuffed bear that was laying at the corner and started to dance with him.
I love seeing things like this in beautiful Boulder. Music and dancing can lift your spirit. Let it be part of you.
iTable G5

I went to Atlas coffee shop to work and found this interesting fellow working on graphics design using his iTop.
He brought his 2004
iMac G5 to the coffee shop, order a coffee and got online to work on his project.
I had to ask;
- so, how do you get it into that small laptop bag? – pointing at a 17″ by 12″ bag haging from his shoulder.
- with a lot of patience – he replied
I’m pretty sure that was his man’s purse and not his computer carrier bag.
This is what a beautiful srping day in Boulder will do to you.; take your computer with you and enjoy being surrounded by people and sunlight.

Snow Perfectly Balanced On The Branches

On my way to work, before picking up a cup of coffee, around the corner from my place I found this tree with perfectly balanced fluffly snow.
Snow in May 24. WTF?!

On May 24, 2010 I woke up to this beautiful and unexpected view. This is the view to the east side of my building from my balcony in downtown Boulder.

This is the view to the Flatirons (south west view from my apartment). Not much to see rith now because of the tree
