How to Learn How to Skate

“A man learns to skate by staggering about making a fool of himself; indeed, he progresses in all things by making a fool of himself.”

The Power We Forgot About

lifecast shamanic journey by_koalacid

As a scientist or geek of the week, I have always understood my surroundings using science, reading and rational thinking.

Last November, I decided to reach out to my spirituality since science (especially quantum physics) keeps pointing me into that direction.

For the first time, I connected with my spirit guides without anesthesia – the first time I see them I was getting out of surgery and they were standing by my hospital bed as I was coming back to consciousness.

It was very interesting to re-discover the power I forgot about. I guess is not really a power but a connection. It felt like I knew how to connect with my spirit guides but adulthood, work and this fast pace society made me forget.

Join me this Thursday at 6:00 pm to build community and journey into your spirituality.

Tracy L. will help guide you to connect with your guides, once more.

She is offering an introductory Shamanic Workshop this Saturday and a Journey Community this Thursday for experienced travelers.

I always say to my friends and relatives who ask me; “how does it work, what did you see”? Well, this might sound like the matrix movie but; “you have to see it for yourself”. wink !!

See you soon Young Jedis

New Year’s 2015

Need .. to .. stop .. making .. faces …

Happy New Year, everybody. This new year is going to be batter than 2015. In 2014 I made a lot of progress in every aspect of my life.

Spirituality was a new habit this last year. I also started to meditate after listening to “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill, in audio book.

I don’t want to write too much becuase I know you have a glass of champagne in hand ready to celebrate.

Best wishes this 2015 and remember to set journeys, no goals.

Injusto Destierro, Injusta Vejez

Today, my father sent me this beautiful email.

I didn’t want to edit out his over extended use of upper case since he has been feeling a little under the weather nowadays.

Here is his email;

Querido hijo,

Why I will never have a Girlfriend

The things I find in the internet …

While surfing the net and doing my typical research on female psychology I stumbled into this paper titled; Why I will never have a Girlfriend by Tristan Miller from the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence[1]  written in December 1999.

He tries to answer the question of why he doesn’t have a girlfriend by using demographics and basic calculus. Here are the first two paragraphs of the paper;

Why don’t I have a girlfriend?

This is a question that practically every male has asked himself at one point or another in his life. Unfortunately, there is rarely a hard and fast answer to the query. Many men try to reason their way through the dilemma nonetheless, often reaching a series of ridiculous explanations, each more self-deprecating than the last: “Is it because I’m too shy, and not aggressive enough? Is it my opening lines? Am I a boring person? Am I too fat or too thin? Or am I simply ugly and completely unattractive to women?” When all other plausible explanations have been discounted, most fall back on the time-honoured conclusion that “there must be Something Wrong™ with me” before resigning themselves to lives of perpetual chastity.[2]

Not the author, though. I, for one, refuse to spend my life brooding over my lack of luck with women. While I’ll be the first to admit that my chances of ever entering into a meaningful relationship with someone special are practically non-existent, I staunchly refuse to admit that it has anything to do with some inherent problem with me. Instead, I am convinced that the situation can be readily explained in purely scientific terms, using nothing more than demographics and some elementary statistical calculus …
